Approach

Depth, at a pace you set.

A list of clinical acronyms tells you very little about what an hour together is actually like. Here is the shape of the work instead.

Psychodynamic

Depth and patterns

Much of what governs a life was decided early and never revisited. We look at where a reaction comes from, what it once made sense of, and whether it still serves you.

AEDP · Attachment-informed

Emotion and relationship

Feeling something with another person present is different from analyzing it alone. A good deal of the change happens in what passes between us in the room.

Somatic · Trauma-informed

Body and nervous system

Tightness, numbness, and restlessness are information. We work slowly with difficult material and stay inside what you can tolerate.

Integrative

Practical support when useful

When something concrete would help—a way to interrupt a spiral, a boundary to rehearse—we use it. Not every approach is used with every person.

The first few sessions

We will talk about what brings you in, what you hope might feel different, and anything important about your history or present circumstances.

There is no requirement to tell your whole story at once. The pace and focus are shaped together.

A first step

A short conversation can help us see if it feels like a fit.

Fifteen minutes, no cost and no obligation. If someone else would be the better fit, I will say so.
