Therapy

Individually, or together.

I work with adults and older adults individually, and with couples of any configuration. Most people arrive with something specific and find that it opens onto something older.

Format

Individual therapy

Weekly sessions, in person or virtual. We start with what is pressing and work outward to the patterns underneath it—how you learned to cope, what those strategies protect, and what they now cost. Some weeks are practical. Others are slower and more exploratory.

Format

Couples therapy

For partners who keep having the same argument in different clothes, who have grown quiet with each other, or who are facing a transition, rupture, or decision. We look at the cycle you are caught in and what each of you is protecting inside it.

Areas we may explore

Burnout, work pressure, and career questions

Anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation

Life transitions, identity, self-esteem, and body image

Relationships, attachment, intimacy, grief, and family patterns

Care that makes room for context.

Identity, culture, family, work, and the systems around you all belong in the conversation. The aim is not to separate a problem from the life in which it developed.

A first step

A short conversation can help us see if it feels like a fit.

Fifteen minutes, no cost and no obligation. If someone else would be the better fit, I will say so.
